Desktop chronology

My current desktop looks like this (2011-): It features:

• a transparent Crocbar on the right
• a slideshow and two xbiff on the bottom left, using another transparent Crocbar
• windows with titles on the left. Some of them are rolled up on the left to the window title.
• inactive windows have a transparent window title
• window icons are a screenshot of the application
• a vertical pager on the bottom right corner

My previous desktop looked like this (2009-2010): It is taken from PEM and adapted.
